BOOKING & PAYMENT QUESTIONS

Do you charge by the hour, or as a set rate?

Azure can provide a comprehensive wedding service that includes chauffeuring all of the following people on the wedding day: groom/best man, bride/dad or escort, bridesmaids/mum, bride/groom and any friends/relations that it is logistically possible to drive around on the wedding day prior to the wedding reception. So once you have our fee there will be no additional charges for time or mileage (if within a 15-mile radius of Cheltenham). Prices start from £195.00.

Do you have any time limits?

When you book Azure there are no time limits on how long our cars/drivers are available to you, from the first pick-up until the start of the wedding reception.

Are there any mileage limitations?

When you book Azure there are no mileage limits, unless the journey is more than 15-miles from Cheltenham. In such circumstances we would agree an additional fee to cover this mileage before you book with us. So all your costs are know about before you commit to using Azure.

Can I view the cars before booking?

We are so proud of our cars that we would thoroughly recommend a viewing of all of them at our Cheltenham location before you finally decide on which one(s) you want for the special day.

It is only by sitting in them that you can experience the unique qualities of each of our cars, choose from the long-wheelbase Rolls-Royce Flying Spur (with 16″ of legroom), the extended-wheelbase Bentley Arnage (with 22″ of legroom).

Are your services package deals, or bespoke?

Every enquiry is managed personally by the owner and principal chauffeur of Azure, Dan Goodrum. In fact, he will take you right through the booking process and will therefore, be fully aware of all the requirements you have for the big day. So if it is possible, Azure will provide it!

How do we reserve the car(s) we want?

We are so proud of our cars that we would thoroughly recommend a viewing of all of them at our Cheltenham location before you finally decide on which one(s) you want for the special day.

It is only by sitting in them and being taken on a short drive that you can experience the unique qualities of each of our cars, choose from the long-wheelbase Rolls-Royce Flying Spur (with 16″ of legroom) or the extended-wheelbase Bentley Arnage (with 22″ of legroom).

When should we book?

If the car you want is available for your special day then it is advisable to book it there and then.

What are your booking and payment terms?

When booking a car, an invoice for 40% of the total cost will be raised as a deposit, which is payable within 14-days of booking. The balance is then due 2-weeks before the wedding.

If you would like to spread out the payments then we can discuss the arrangements that best suit your requirements.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfer and cheque. We also offer monthly payment plans via standing order.

Can I make a last minute booking?

If Azure has a car and driver available then you can book a wedding car up until the day before the wedding. In such circumstances, Azure will provide you with its full breadth of services as standard.

Please send us a message as soon as possible if you are in this position.

Do you offer multiple car booking discounts?

Yes. If you book any combination of Azure’s Wedding Cars (Rolls-Royce Flying Spur, Bentley Arnage and/or Daimler Double-Six) then you will receive a 5% discount on the total price.

What happens if we need to cancel our booking?

If you cancel your booking before paying the deposit (due within 14-days of booking) then the deposit will not be payable. If you cancel your booking after paying the deposit, as per Azure’s Terms and Conditions, Azure will retain the deposit. If you cancel your booking after paying the final amount (due 2-weeks before the wedding) Azure will retain all the fees paid to-date.

What happens if Azure can’t fulfil our booking?

Azure only accepts bookings that it can fulfil and has never been in this situation. If before the day an issue arises with your chosen car that cannot be resolved before your wedding then Azure will substitute one of its other Rolls-Royce or Bentley motor cars. If they are already booked out then it will source and pay for a car of an equivalent standard. Should this situation arise you will be kept informed as the matter progresses.

CAR RELATED QUESTIONS

Does Azure have a choice of cars?

Azure has 3 wedding cars to choose from: A Rolls-Royce Flying Spur, a Bentley Arnage Limousine and a Daimler Double-Six. Each has its own character and the best way to choose between them is to visit Azure in Cheltenham, where you can view the cars and experience them on the road.

How much space is there in the car?

Azure has a long wheelbase Rolls-Royce motor; the Flying Spur, which has 16″ of legroom but if you need a serious amount of legroom then the Bentley Arnage Limousine is the car for you. It has 22″ of legroom and is almost unique outside London.

How many seats do your cars have?

All of our wedding cars can carry up to 4 passengers (five including your chauffeur).

What condition are your cars in?

All the cars are in pristine condition. Each one was only purchased after months of careful research to find the best example available of that model. The Rolls-Royce Flying Spur and Bentley Arnage limousines have very low mileage for their age. All the cars are kept in tip-top condition by the local main dealers for Rolls-Royce and Bentley.

Do ribbons for the car come included?

Yes. Not only do ribbons come as standard but if you would like us to, we will find the closest match to the colour theme of your wedding.

Can we have flowers or decorations on the wedding car?

We are happy to place any flowers or decorations on or in the car. Our only provison is that they won’t compromise the pristine nature of the car for future couples.

What happens if my wedding car breaks down?

Thankfully, we’ve never had a vehicle break down. However, should that occur, we have enough vehicles to call on to cover the situation. Moreover, to ensure minimum time is lost and the journey can continue smoothly, a local chauffeur company would be called upon immediately as a replacement (either temporarily or for the remainder of the duration of your booking). All such costs would be covered by Azure.

Do your cars have air-conditioning for hot days?

Each of Azure’s cars is equipped with very powerful air-conditioning systems.

WEDDING DAY QUESTIONS

What is included in Azure's standard wedding day package?

The car you book from Azure will be available for all the journeys you require from the beginning of the wedding day until the start of the wedding reception. This will include all the time and mileage required for these journeys, which can include: groom to ceremony, bridesmaids to ceremony, bride to ceremony and bride and groom to reception, via a scenic route including use of Azure’s Champagne service if required. The only exceptions to this are (1) If any of the journeys are outside a 15-mile radius of Cheltenham, in which case and additional charge may apply or (2) If the logistics of the day dictate that more than one car is required, in which case the second car will attract an additional charge. An example of this is where it is too far to drive the bridesmaids to the wedding ceremony and then return for the bride.

Is a glass of champagne for the bride and groom included in your service?

Azure is not able to provide Champagne because to do so would be considered to be a supply of alcohol, which is contrary to section 136 of the Licensing Act 2003 and thereby a criminal offence.

Azure instead offers a Champagne service. This comprises the provision of a Champagne table, flutes and chiller, along with the serving of Champagne supplied to Azure by the wedding party. So when your wedding car arrives, just hand your bottle the driver and they will serve the Champagne to the newly married couple after the ceremony.

Please Note: Azure is happy to serve light coloured drinks such as Champagne, sparkling white wine, white wine or sparkling apple juice. We do not however allow red wine in any of our wedding cars as this could stain the leather and affect the luxury wedding car experience for future clients bookings.

Will you stay after the ceremony so we can have photos with the car?

Absolutely. The car(s) you have booked will remain with you for as long as you require until the start of the wedding reception and there won’t be any charge for this. It is all included in the fee we agree before you book. Azure doesn’t have any hidden charges.

How long do we get the car for on our wedding day?

The car you book from Azure will be available for all the journeys you require from the beginning of the wedding day until the start of the wedding reception. This will include all the time and mileage required for these journeys, which can include:

• Groom to ceremony
• Bridesmaids to ceremony
• Bride to ceremony
• Bride and groom to reception, via a scenic route and Azure’s Champagne Service

The only exceptions to this are (1) If any of the journeys are outside a 15-mile radius of Cheltenham, in which case and additional charge may apply or (2) If the logistics of the day dictate that more than one car is required, in which case the second car will attract an additional charge. Who will be doing the driving?

You will be driven either by Azure’s owner and principal chauffeur, Dan Goodrum, or one of Azure’s carefully selected Associate Chauffeurs, all of whom have been chosen for the combination of driving skills and customer service.

What will your chauffeurs be wearing?

Your chauffeur will be wearing a chauffeur’s uniform with matching chauffeurs cap.

Will the chauffeurs help the bride get in and out of the car properly?

Absolutely. In fact, they will explain and demonstrate how to enter and exit a car in a wedding dress – something that is completely different from how you normally do so!

Will my car be used for any other weddings or events on the same day?

No.

What if it rains on the wedding day?

Each of Azure’s cars carries several umbrellas that will be used to protect the passengers from the rain.

Can I make use of Azure's services, even if the wedding ceremony and reception are both at the same venue?

Of course. Your chosen car can collect the groom from his overnight stay and take him to the venue. The car will then wait during the ceremony and whisk the newly married couple off for a half-hour scenic drive, with a glass of champagne each. This will give the newlyweds some precious time together before meeting their guests as husband and wife. During the journey they may wish to stop at a favourite location, where their photographer can take some special shots for the wedding album. Another big advantage of this service is that the bride has a chance to take a break from the venue, which she otherwise would be at from the night before the wedding until the morning after the wedding day.

Where is Azure Wedding Cars based?

We’re based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

What area does Azure cover?

Azure is based in Cheltenham and so can cover Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. We also provide our services to the surrounding counties of Somerset, Wiltshire, Monmouthshire, Bristol and the rest of South West England. Depending upon the car required, we can cover the whole of the British Isles.

Are you licensed to provide wedding car hire services?

The law does not require a licence to provide wedding car services. Anyone with a car that has an MoT can use it for weddings.

Yes, Azure has comprehensive motor and public liability insurance.
